Tabby, The Second Sister

Adding to our reintroduction series, we'd like to introduce the second sister, Tabby! The tallest one of the bunch, Tabby is a lover of all things cattle. If it walks on four legs and moos, she's your girl. Tabby spends her days working on the farm, completing whatever task is set before her. If she's afraid of something, you'd never know until the task is done and she can breathe a sigh of relief.

Tabby is 28 and works full-time on the farm. She takes care of feeding animals, caring for their health, making harvesting decisions, and so much more. She's a behind-the-scenes type of girl, and loves getting her hands dirty! Her favorite time is spent with the pigs and cattle.

Tabby is also one of the sisters with the most muscle, as you'll find her carrying the heavy bags from the meat processor. Because of the work schedules of Olivia, Kendra, and Gina, Tabby has been instrumental in working with the meat packer. She schedules harvest dates, and inventories, and organizes the meat freezer.

Besides farm work, Tabby is passionate about telling our story. She loves to talk about the farm to anyone willing to listen. She graduated from Purdue University with a master's in animal science.

Along with her husband Bryan, Tabby is raising two dogs, Heidi and Quinn. Heidi and Quinn are more like their babies and love to go wherever Tabby or Bryan go. Quinn is trained to work cattle and Heidi loves to relax under the shade tree! If you're at the farm, you will see either one or both of them living their best life.

In her spare time, if she has any, Tabby loves to paint with her paint-by-number set, garden with her husband, and spend time with her dogs. She also loves to spend quality time with her nieces and nephews, of which she has three of each.

We would be lost without Tabby in our group. She keeps us together and is known to assign each of us a task. This is so helpful as she keeps us moving forward. She is a true leader and we appreciate everything she does.
