French Beef Bake

Ingredients:
2 lbs SFM minute steaks
1/4 cup butter
1 cup red wine
1 1/2 cups water
1 packet onion soup mix
salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
Brown the steak in a skillet with butter.
Transfer the meat to an oven safe casserole dish.
In a bowl, combine the soup mix, water, wine, and salt and pepper.
Pour the soup mixture over the steaks, and cover the dish with foil.
Bake at 350 degrees for two hours.
Serve over mashed potatoes, polenta, or rice.
