Quiche

*This recipe is one of the most forgiving recipes ever! It's 100% customizable, and you can pick and choose what you want to put in it. We love using leftover meat and veggies in ours. This is the basic recipe; take it and make it your own!


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup SFM cooked meat (sausage, bacon, hamburger, etc.)

  • 1/2 cup sautéed vegetables

  • 4 eggs

  • T Tbsp milk

  • 1 cup shredded cheese

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • 1 pie crust



Directions:

  1. Cook your meat of choice, or get it out of the fridge if you are using leftovers. There is no need to warm up the meat if it was in the fridge.

  2. If using fresh vegetables, dice them up into small pieces and sauté in butter in a frying pan until soft. If you are using leftover veggies, make sure they are diced into small pieces.

  3. In a separate bowl, scramble the eggs and milk together.

  4. Assemble the quiche in your prepared pie crust. At the very bottom of the crust, add the veggies. Then you can layer with the meat, and then the cheese. Finally, pour the beaten eggs on top to fill the crust.

  5. Bake in the 350-degree oven for 35-40 minutes.

  6. Enjoy!
