Italian Sausage, Spinach, & Tortellini Soup

Ingredients:
1 lb SFM Italian sausage
2 diced carrots
1 small diced onion
4 minced garlic cloves
1/4 cup flour
5 cups chicken broth
1 package cheese tortellini
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 package frozen spinach, thawed and drained
2 cups whole milk
Directions:
In a large pot, or dutch oven, break up and brown the sausage. When the sausage is halfway cooked, add in the diced onion and carrot to saute. Add the garlic and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Wisk in the flour to create a riox. Let that cook for 1 minute before adding in the chicken broth. Simmer for a few minutes and then set to medium-low and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Add in the tortellini, seasoning, spinach, and milk. Let simmer for another 5-10 minutes before serving.
