Italian Sausage Bow-Tie Pasta

Ingredients:
1 lb SFM Italian Sausage
1 - 12 oz box of bow-tie pasta
1 Tbsp oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 Tbsp garlic, minced
3 Tbsp tomato paste
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt & pepper
Directions:
Cook the pasta according to the box directions. Drain and set aside.
Add the oil to a large skillet and heat over medium heat. Break the sausage into small pieces as it cooks through. Remove the sausage from the skillet once finished.
Sauté the onions and garlic in the same skillet until lightly browned.
To the onions and garlic, add the broth, tomato paste, and dried herbs. Simmer this mixture for about 5 minutes. Add the sausage back into the sauce and stir in the heavy cream. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Once the sauce is ready, add the pasta and stir until it is well-coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste and top with the cheese.
