Crockpot Beef Stew

  • 3lbs of Steckler Family Meat Co Roast of your choosing

  • 3 cubes beef bouillon

  • 1 12oz jar of salsa

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 large onion

  • 1 large sweet potato

  • 5 medium potatoes

  • 4 carrots

  • 2 tbs Paprika

  • 2 tbs onion powder

  • 2 tbs garlic powder

  • 1 tbs salt

  • 1 tbs pepper

  • 1 tbs worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbs celery seeds

  • pinch of allspice


  1. Select a SFMC roast of your choosing. Some options include chuck, arm, or rump roast. You could also use our stew meat to have chunks of beef instead of shredded.

  2. The roast can be put in the crockpot frozen or thawed. In this recipe it was frozen.

  3. Peel and dice the sweet and regular potatoes. Then peel and dice the onion and carrots into a similar size as the potatoes.

  4. Combine all the spices, liquid, and veggies together in your crockpot and set on low for 8 hours.

  5. Once time is up take out the roast in shred it.

  6. After shredded add back to the crockpot and mix up.

  7. Enjoy!
