INGREDIENTS:
1 2.5lb SFM Chuck Roast
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp taco seasoning
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp red pepper flakes
salt
black pepper
Flour tortillas
Favorite toppings: lettuce, shredded cheese, sour cream, onions, candied jalapenos, etc.
Directions:
Place the thawed chuck roast into a large slow cooker.
Add all of the seasonings to the top of the meat. Add the salt and black pepper to taste.
Set the slow cooker for 8 hours, put the lid on the top, and let the roast cook until it is fork tender. Do not add any liquid at this stage, as the meat will be too liquidy when it has finished cooking. The marbling in the meat will create its own juice.
Once the meat has finished cooking, shred it with two forks. Mix the meat with the cooking liquid that has been rendered during the cooking process.
Make your tacos to your liking.
Enjoy!
