About the Recipe
Easy, warm, cozy soup for the winter time that will not make you feel guilty!
Ingredients
2 lbs of Ground Beef
1 lg Onion
2 stalks of Celery
1 tbsp of Minced Garlic
1 8oz can of Corn
1 8oz can of Green B
eans
1 cup of chopped Carrots
1 head of Cabbage
1 16oz can of Tomato Sauce
1 8 oz can of Diced
tomatoes
4 cups of Beef Broth
1 tbsp of salt
2 tsp of pepper
1 tbsp of Basil
1 tbsp of Thyme
Preparation
Step 1
Sauté ground beef. Chop onions and celery while your cooking the beef. Once the beef is done, drain it. Sauté the onions and celery and garlic in some butter. Combine all ingredients in the pan.
Step 2
Add all the vegetables, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Add seasonings and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Cut cabbage while it is simmering. Add cabbage to pan and put lid on it. let cook for 30 minutes on medium high or until cabbage is done.
